Greetings from Western Australia in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is indeed our pleasure to host the National Baptist Fellowship (NBF) meetings later this year. I would like to invite you to join us for a wonderful time of fellowship and great preaching. The dates are October 6-8, 2009 with a Ministry Leaders Banquet on October 5.
Our theme is Liberty - Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty! (2 Corinthians 3:17). We have many spiritual blessings because of who we are and what we possess in Jesus Christ. Along with these privileges we face countless challenges in living for Christ and with proclaiming Him to this society. That’s one reason why good fellowship is so important. We need each other.
I am eager to meet preachers, missionaries, and ministry leaders from around the world. We will be uplifted with sermons by preachers and missionaries from across Australia. Our featured preacher is Steve Bender, former missionary to Korea, who is now working with other missionaries around the world. His wife Jenell is a gifted speaker and will be sharing with our ladies. We’ll join together in singing to our Lord and be blessed by special music.
The morning and evening meetings will be held at our church premises. We are completing the final touches on our new building and want to put it to good use! The members of Gospel Baptist are looking forward to being a blessing to you.
Because it is a fellowship meeting, we want to allow plenty of time for just that - fellowship! Every afternoon will be free for personal & family time, touring around beautiful Perth, or just resting up for the evening session. There is so much to do and see. If you’ve never been to Perth before you are in for a pleasant surprise.
